Prof. Tripathi joined MATS Law School as Director/ Research Professor on 22 July 2010.

Prof (Dr.) G P Tripathi is one of the senior most Professors of Law in the country. He has been a teacher of law since 23rd September 1967 in Allahabad University. He was Reader in DDU Gorakhpur (1978-1980) and Prof. Head and Dean in Sagar University, M.P. since 29th March 1980. He shifted to Jos University plateau state 1988 on sponsorship from govt. of India and later on sifted by govt of Nigeria University of Cross River, Nigeria, West Africa in 1988.it is relevant to mention prof. Tripathi first and fonder prof of law sagar University and also cross river university Uyo state, Nigeria. He has published over twenty five books ( for details visit Amezon and Flipcart) on various areas of civil law. He has published around two hundreds articles research paper. His incoming books include one on medical law, affirmative action religion of law and law religion. He has over 50 years of teaching and research experience and over 40 years of administrative experience. He also had a practice experience as an advocate in Allahabad High Court, Lucknow for over 20 years.

Asst. Prof. Pankaj Umbarkar done his Master Degree in Criminal Law and Post Graduate Diploma in International Human Rights Education. He qualified UGC-NET examination in 2011 . He enrolled as a Ph.D scholar in 2012. He influence the field by writing on the area of cyber Law, Human Rights of Melghatian, Philosophy of Mahatma, Woman Empowerment, Crime against woman in Cyber World ,Problem of Internal and external security of Nation, Right Against Exploitation, Bliss and Grief of Malnutrition, Pomposity in legal writing,Hate speech and free speech syndrome, Uniform Civil Code and Beyond etc having impact factors. He worked as an advocate for more than four years.He attained Contiguous Legal Education Programme (CLEP) from 2009- 2013). He also partook at National and International Workshops /Conferences/Seminars and Teaching Training Programmes at various places in India. He worked as a member of Board of studies in MATS and also working on other committees. Teaching is his passion. He joined MATS in 2012 as an Assistant Professor.

Mr. Sugato Mukherjee has completed B.A.LL.B (Hons) from the University of Kalyani in 2011 and did his LLM in International Law from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS) in 2013 (first class). He has teaching and research internships from National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad and KIIT Law School, Bhubaneswar. Before joining the MATs Law School, he has served as Assistant Professor of Law in Jaipur National University, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

He has participated and presented papers in various national as well as international seminars, workshops and conferences. Further, he has published approximately 10 articles in various reputed Law Journals including International Journal of Law and Policy Review, Indian Human Rights Law Review, Global Journal of Juridical Sciences. He has also authored a book on food law which is going to be published from Germany within few days. He also takes keen interest in music and photography.

Ms. Abhiruchi joined MATS Law School as Assistant Professor in August 2015. She completed her masters in Constitutional and Administrative Laws from Symbiosis Law School Pune, constituent of Symbiosis International University. Her areas of interest are Constitutional law, Administrative Laws and Human Rights. She has participated in various National Seminars, Inter-disciplinary Seminars and Workshops. Her paper titled “Human Rights of Climate Refugees” recently got published in MATS University Law Journal with ISSN: 2250-3889. She has done Diploma in Cyber Law from Government Law College Mumbai and also Diploma in International Business Laws and Corporate Laws in India from Symbiosis Law School Pune. She is teaching Legal Method, Legal and Constitutional History, Judicial Process and Judicial Review to first year, second year and fifth year.

Mr. Rajwant Rao has completed his B.A.LL.B from D.D.U. Gorakhpur University and did his LL.M in corporate law from National Law University, Jodhpur in 2016. Apart from this he has worked in leading law firm of Delhi where he got opportunity to work on some high profile cases of India and gained the working knowledge of Delhi High Court, DRT, CAT, etc.

Mr. Nishikant Bibhu is working as an Assistant Professor (Law) in MATS Law School, MATS University, Raipur. He holds a first class B.A. LL.B (Hons) degree from CNLU(Chanakya National Law University) and a first class LL.M (Corporate Laws) degree from National Law University, Jodhpur (NLU-J) having specialization in Corporate Laws. He has also completed certificate course in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from WIPO, Worldwide academy, Geneva (Switzerland), and diploma in cyber law from Asian School of cyber Laws & Government law College, Mumbai. He is having a vast experience in the field of legal research, he has also worked as a Research Assistant at “THE JURISTS”(A REGISTERED NON PROFIT LEGAL RESEARCH ORGANISATION), Bangluru, Karnatka.

He has also worked in Bajaj Allianz as a legal officer and D.H Law Associates (A corporate Legal firm) Mumbai as a legal Associate.

He was also associated with IDIA (Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access to Legal Education) as a state Director as well as Teaching Team Incharge. IDIA is an initiative started by and Prof. Shamnad Basheer (NUJS) Kolkata and Hon'ble Justice Ruma Pal (Rtd. Judge) Supreme Court of India. He has the experience of presenting papers in various National and International Seminars and Conferences organized by different universities including NUJS, Kolkata, Osmania University, Hyderabad etc.. He has publications in different books and journals. He has the experience of participating in and organizing different national and international parliamentary debate and Moot Court Competitions organized by Universities including BITS Pilani, Sri Ram College of Commerce, NLU-Jodhpur, CNLU, Symbiosis Law School etc. He was holding various positions of responsibilities and representations at his University level. Apart from this he also holds additional LL.M degree from Kurukshetra University.

She is teaching Legal English, Intellectual Property Rights and Competition law to first year, third year and fourth year.
